The surface of the snowpack will only just freeze.

The mostly small wind slabs of the last two days remain in some cases prone to triggering at high altitude. As a consequence of the moderate wind the wind slabs will increase in size moderately from early morning. Single winter sport participants can release avalanches, caution is to be exercised in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas on steep slopes. In high Alpine regions these avalanche prone locations are more prevalent. 5 cm of snow will fall above approximately 2300 m. As the day progresses as the moisture increases there will be a gradual increase in the danger of moist avalanches. They can be released in near-surface layers.

10 to 20 cm of snow fell on Friday above approximately 2300 m. In these regions in all altitude zones hardly any snow is lying. On sunny slopes as well as below approximately 2300 m from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Individual weak layers exist in the snowpack on shady slopes.

The danger will persist.
