Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining older snow will be firm and well bonded. There will be a shallow covering of new fresh snow on most aspects above 700 metres or so. New accumulations will not achieve any significant depth with much of this falling onto bare ground. Largest areas of snow will be found on North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A colder period with the freezing level around 700 metres. There will be snowfall overnight, dry during the day. Winds will be variable throughout this period but North-East by dawn veering South-East by the end of the day. Moderate in strength overnight, easing from dawn. Observed Weather Influences: Generally a bright day with occasional cloud around the tops. After a mild period with rain overnight the freezing level dropped to around 900 metres but there was little new precipitation. Very strong winds from the North-West. ObservedSnowStability: The old patchy snow continues to thaw and although soft in some locations remains well bonded. Greatest amounts are found in North to East facing corries above 900 metres. Patchy elsewhere. The avalanche hazard is Low.
