Der snøen er våt og laus, er det mogleg å løyse ut våte laussnøskred. Glideskred kan òg førekomme der vatn samlar seg mellom snøen og glatte underlag som sva. I tillegg kan skavlar svekkast og falle.

Stort sett smelteomvandla snødekke der det er snø, kanskje litt lagdeling igjen mot nord på de aller høyeste toppene.
