Moist and wet avalanches are the main danger.

The conditions are spring-like. In some localities increase in danger of moist and wet avalanches as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation. More small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized natural moist avalanches are possible, in particular on steep sunny slopes above approximately 2600 m. Intermediate altitudes: As the day progresses, a few moist snow slides are possible, this also applies on very steep shady slopes. Avalanches can in some places be released in the old snowpack on steep shady slopes. These avalanche prone locations are rare and are therefore barely recognisable.

The surface of the snowpack will freeze to form a strong crust only at high altitudes and will already be soft in the early morning. Less snow than usual is lying. On sunny slopes between approximately 2200 and 2400 m from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying. In the last few days the natural activity of moist and wet avalanches has gradually increased. On very steep sunny slopes small and medium-sized avalanches were reported. This applies below approximately 3000 m.

The conditions remain spring-like.
