Storm Slabs

75 cm of storm snow has accumulated at treeline over the past 4 days. Temps have cooled but suspect some weaker layers within the storm snow. Isolated but very large natural events have recently been obs. Moderate snow and high fz levels on Sunday.

Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.

Likelihood: Possible - Likely

Wind Slabs

Moderate to strong S wind continues to transport storm snow onto lee aspects. Natural avalanche activity has subsided since the 23rd, but human triggering of windslabs remains possible today.

Aspects: North, North East, East, South East.

Elevations: Alpine, Treeline.

Likelihood: Possible - Likely
