Forecast Snow Stability: Very shallow deposits of mostly avoidable, drifted snow will be present only in steepest, sheltered North to Easterly aspects, above 800 metres. Elsewhere the old patchy accumulations will be hard, re-frozen and stable. The avalanche hazard will be Low

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain cold and mostly dry. The Freezing Level will lower to glens overnight, rising to around 600 metres as the day progresses. A North Westerly airflow will moderate and become Westerly at times. Observed Weather Influences: Cooler than of late with some light overnight showers, these cleared to give a dry and generally bight day. The winds were strong North Westerly. ObservedSnowStability: There has been little more than a trace of new snow above 750 metres. The snowpack remains very sparse and in the main confined to only patches at highest elevations; these are hard, re-frozen and stable. The avalanche hazard is Low
