Forecast Snow Stability: Snow around the higher summits may become a little firmer but any new snowfall will make little difference to the current situation. Largest areas will be found on North to East aspects above 900 metres with only small patches encountered below this altitude. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will drop to around the higher summits. Precipitation will be light and mainly fall as rain but there is potential for a dusting of snow on the highest tops. Winds will continue to be very strong, mostly South-West occasionally South-South-West. Observed Weather Influences: A cloudy day with rain showers at all levels. Very strong winds from the South. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snow cover is thawing but well bonded. Cover is generally patchy with largest areas found above 900 metres on North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
