The snowpack will be in most cases well bonded.
Currently there are favourable conditions generally. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. Avalanches can be released in deeper layers, in particular by large additional loads. This applies in particular above approximately 2500 m,, in particular on steep northeast, north and west facing slopes. Moderate danger of moist and wet avalanches will be encountered in some localities. On sunny slopes as well as at low and intermediate altitudes from a snow sport perspective, insufficient snow is lying.
Snowpack Structure
Over a wide area only a little snow is lying. The snowpack is largely stable and its surface has a melt-freeze crust. Faceted weak layers exist in the snowpack in particular on steep shady slopes. This applies especially above approximately 2500 m.
Tendency
The avalanche danger will increase a little during the day.
