Regions: Little Yoho.

Reports are showing a transition to a supportive summer snowpack in most areas. Expect hard snow conditions on cold mornings and increasing avalanche hazard in steep snowy terrain on hot days.

Snowpack Summary

There is more residual snowpack at upper elevations than normal for this time of year. Expect to find seasonal snow patches extending to lower elevations than typical. These can make for good travel if frozen and supportive but can be a source of avalanches and rockfall on warm days.
