The General Avalanche Hazard is LOW this morning as the snowpack is stable due to overnight freezing temperatures following yesterdays' sunny day with highs in the upper thirties and low forties. The hazard will increase this afternoon to MODERATE when warm temperatures weaken the surface crust making wet loose and wet slab avalanches possible as well providing the possibility to trigger surface slabs at high elevations on very steep terrain.
