Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE today. Pockets of soft slab up to one foot in depth lie on a weak layer of faceted snow and slick crusts. These slabs could be human triggered in steep wind loaded avalanche starting zones. The potential to trigger these slabs will increase as temperatures rise.
