Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is LOW today. New snow on slick crusts may slough easily from sun breaks or start from snow falling off trees or rocky areas. At the higher elevations travelers will be able to initiate dangerous slides on steeper slopes. Avoid areas where debris can collect at the bottom of avalanche paths, ravines, road cuts, etc.
