Avalanche Summary

Heavy snow on Monday, particularly in Rocky Mountain National Park, will increase avalanche danger. The most dangerous slopes will be those with wind-drifted snow from southerly winds shifting easterly through the day. Avoid very steep slopes where you observe shooting cracks or where the snow feels harder and more cohesive than in sheltered areas.
