Avalanche Summary

Avoid travel on and under all slopes steeper than about 30 degrees in the near and above treeline elevation bands. You can trigger large, dangerous avalanches in these areas. Seek out lower-angle wind-sheltered terrain in the below treeline elevation band without steep slopes above you for safer travel.
