Highlights

Over 60 inches of snow with five inches of moisture has fallen since Christmas. Large soft slab avalanches up to six feet in depth could be human triggered or release spontaneously and run full track to the valley floor or canyon bottoms. Medium and smaller soft slab avalanches up to several feet could also be human triggered or release naturally on a variety of aspects. With new snow and wind in the forecast the hazard will increase as the day progresses. TRAVEL IN AVALANCHE TERRAIN IS NOT RECOMMENDED.
