Highlights

Hard slabs one to three feet in depth lie upon a weak layer comprised of surface hoar and faceted snow at all elevations. These slabs could be triggered by backcountry users today on steep slopes when trigger points are reached. This triggering may occur after the slope has been skied or crossed several times.
