You could trigger an avalanche on a deeply buried weak layer, resulting in a dangerous slide. You may not receive any warning signs, such as cracking or collapsing sounds, before a deeper slide is triggered. Big open slopes with lots of protruding rocks and convex rolls will be the most dangerous slopes.
