The wind slabs are small but to be assessed critically. As a consequence of the new snow individual loose snow avalanches are possible, but they will be mostly small. In many places there is a danger of falling on the icy crust.
Wind slabs have formed adjacent to ridgelines. In some places new snow is lying on an icy crust. The Avalanche Warning Service currently has only a small amount of information that has been collected in the field, so that the avalanche danger should be investigated especially thoroughly in the relevant locality.
Up to 20 cm of snow will fall above approximately 1100 m.
