Highlights

Soft surface slabs up to four feet in depth exist at the mid and upper elevations. Yesterday a skier became the fifth avalanche victim of the season when he triggered a small slab on a northerly aspect in Granite Canyon and was swept off a cliff. Another skier triggered a four foot deep slab on a northerly aspect in Jenson Canyon. Similiar events are likely to be triggered today especially on steep wind loaded aspects and in cliff areas. At the lower elevations pockets of slab up to two feet in depth could be human triggered. Wet slides are possible today on steep sunlit aspects.
