Avalanche Summary
The few places you might be able to trigger an avalanche are just below ridgelines on wind-drifted pockets of snow. You are most likely to encounter these in gullies, couloirs, or around a rock outcrop above treeline. If you notice cracking in the snow or the snow feels hard and hollow with soft snow underneath firm snow, consider moving to a different slope or sticking to slopes less than around 35 degrees steep.
Expect the danger to increase later this week with an incoming storm.
