Forecast Snow Stability: Little change is expected. The snowpack will remain firm and icy with stability being generally good on all apsects. The greatest accumulations are to be found on North through East to South-East facing slopes above 950 meters, particularly on high plateau areas and North facing coires. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: A dry day with Gale force Sourtherly winds. Although the freezing level will be above the highest summits a temperature inversion will maintain the re-frozen and firm snow conditions. Observed Weather Influences: A pleasant dry and sunny day with strong Southerly winds. The summit tempretures were around -1 degrees. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack refroze overnight and is generally well bonded firm and icy. The surface only softening slightly on some sun-exposed slopes. Greatest amounts can be found on the plateau and high coires, mainly on North through East to South-East aspects above 900 meters. Elsewhere snow cover is limited and patchy. The avalanche hazard is Low.
