Westerly flow, light to moderate amounts expected today and moderate amounts into Wednesday with associated moderate to strong south west winds.

Snowpack Summary

10 to 20cm over the Feb 3 sun crust on steep solar aspect. Temperature crust down ~20cm below 1400m. Profile on Mt Fidelity, 2080m, SE aspect, 33deg. 227cm snow depth. Easy to moderate resistant planar test results down 12 and 20 and moderate to hard sudden planar results down 45 and 57cm. Wind effect in upper snowpack tree line and above.

Avalanche Summary

Yesterday there were 2  natural, size 2.0, slab avalanches east of the Rogers Pass summit and 1 natural , size 2.5 avalanche west of the summit.
