The avalanche prone locations are to be found in particular on northeast to north to northwest facing wind-loaded slopes above approximately 2400 m.

As a consequence of falling temperatures and solar radiation the snowpack will consolidate during the next few days. The snowpack will become weakly bonded in particular on steep shady slopes.

Snowpack Structure

The fresh snow and the extensive wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant in particular on northeast to northeast to northwest facing aspects above approximately 1800 m.
