Snowpack Summary

The south coast ranges have yet to form a snowpack. Where snow cover exists, it is patchy and consists primarily of melt-freeze crust. In a few areas, limited snow cover has formed smooth surfaces which could act as sliding surfaces for future snowfall. Much of this snow is expected to be washed away by Saturday night's storm.
