Forecast Snow Stability: Wet snow instability will persist overnight and early morning on all steep North through East to South East aspects above 850m. Remaining cornices will weaken further and be prone to sudden collapse. Noticeably better stability from midday onwards with the onset of colder weather. Some soft moderately bonded windslab is possible much later in the period on some steep South East to South aspects above 950m. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate

Forecast Weather Influences: Mild and damp overnight then a transition to heavier rainfall during the morning. Much cooler from midday with snow showers. Moderate West South West winds becoming North Westerly and later Northerly. Observed Weather Influences: Mild at all altitudes with persistent drizzle during the morning. ObservedSnowStability: Poor stability overnight and during the morning on very steep North East through East to South East aspects above 850m. Recent avalanche debris litters several gullies near the Post Face of Coire Ardair and crag approach slopes in the Inner Coire. The snowpack is now moist or wet at all elevations and beginning to show some early consolidation. Remaining cornices remain wet and weak. The avalanche hazard is Moderate
