Avalanche Activity

The avalanche danger is decreasing as precipitation and wind diminish. However, it will still be possible to trigger avalanches on persistent weak layers in the snowpack as well as in the fresh wind‑deposited snow.

Tendency

There is a persistent weak layer buried in the snow pack, especially in the high mountains. Be careful in areas with wind deposited snow.
