Most slopes do not have the necessary conditions to trigger an avalanche, making them generally safe for travel. However, exercise caution in steep, wind-drifted gullies. Denser slabs of snow found in isolated areas below ridges or concave features could potentially produce small avalanches that might catch you off guard.
