Avalanche Summary
It's a nice time to go enjoy the mountains with generally safe avalanche conditions and beautiful weather. If you are planning on traveling in very steep, consequential terrain, look for and avoid hard, hollow patches of wind-drifted snow. Start and end your day early to avoid small wet avalanches in the afternoon.
Researchers Ian McCammon and Sara Boilen are developing new tools for managing human factors for backcountry skiers and boarders. This survey asks about personal experiences with human factors and will take 7 - 8 minutes to fill out. Link is HERE. Thank you for your help!
