Avalanche Summary

You can trigger an avalanche where strong winds drifted a dense slab onto steep terrain. The most dangerous slopes will face northeast to east to southeast. You can find the drifted snow below ridgelines or along the sides of gullies. Avoid these areas, and you will reduce your chances of triggering avalanches.
