Highlights
The general avalanche hazard is MODERATE in steep wind loaded upper elevation slide paths. Pockets of soft slab up to 18 inches in depth put in by southwest to northwest winds lurk in the higher elevation starting zones. These slabs lie upon slick old snow surfaces and could be easily triggered. The general avalanche hazard is LOW in areas not underlain by hard old snow surfaces.
