Highlights
Isolated pockets of new soft slab up to eight inches in depth will form today in leeward starting zones and cliff areas and could be human triggered. Deep slab instabilities persist in areas that have not already had recent avalanche activity. Old hard slabs up to three feet in depth lie upon weak layers of faceted snow. If triggered these deep slabs could pull out deeper snow layers all the way to the ground.
