Avalanche Summary

Most slopes are safe from avalanches on Sunday. The few areas you might be able to trigger a small avalanche are where you find firm, wind-drifted snow at the highest elevations just below ridgelines or on the edges of gullies or couloirs. Avoid traveling on these firm wind-drifts, especially if there is dangerous terrain such as a cliff below you, where even a small avalanche can injure you.

A winter storm will arrive on Sunday afternoon. You can expect conditions to start changing slowly throughout the afternoon, with an increase in the avalanche danger by Monday morning.
