The prevalence of the avalanche prone locations will increase at high altitude. The more recent wind slabs are mostly small and in some cases prone to triggering. They can be released by a single winter sport participant in isolated cases. This applies in particular adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. The wind slabs are clearly recognisable to the trained eye. As a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation individual mostly small wet loose snow avalanches are possible.

5 to 10 cm of snow fell on Friday above approximately 1800 m. At high altitudes and in high Alpine regions snow depths vary greatly, depending on the infuence of the wind. Individual weak layers exist in the snowpack on shady slopes. In particular in shady places that are protected from the wind above approximately 2200 m: Towards its surface, the snowpack is soft; its surface consists of loosely bonded snow.

The avalanche danger will persist.
