In particular adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls as well as above approximately 2500 m wind slabs formed. They are rather rare and are difficult to recognise. The wind slabs can be released, especially by large additional loads,, caution is to be exercised in particular at transitions from a shallow to a deep snowpack, when entering gullies and bowls for example in particular at intermediate and high altitudes, and on very steep slopes. Here the likelihood of avalanches is higher. Dry avalanches can in isolated cases be released in near-ground layers. Weak layers exist in the snowpack on steep north, northeast and northwest facing slopes.

5 to 10 cm of snow fell yesterday. The new snow is very loosely bonded in all aspects in all altitude zones. Snow depths vary greatly above approximately 2000 m, depending on the infuence of the wind. In addition, from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. The old snowpack consists of faceted crystals. Weak layers exist in the snowpack especially on shady slopes.

The avalanche danger will persist.
