Individual avalanche prone locations are to be found on extremely steep slopes. In steep terrain there is a danger of falling on the hard snow surface. As the day progresses as a consequence of warming during the day and solar radiation there will be an increase in the danger of moist and wet snow slides within the current danger level. Avalanches can be released in the weakly bonded old snow in very isolated cases. Mostly small ground avalanches are possible.

In particular in the southeast from a snow sport perspective, in most cases insufficient snow is lying. On south facing slopes below approximately 2600 m no snow is lying. The snowpack will be generally subject to considerable local variations. Sunshine and high temperatures will give rise to increasing moistening of the snowpack. The surface of the snowpack will soften during the day, in particular on very steep sunny slopes.

The avalanche danger will persist.
