Forecast Snow Stability: No significant snowfall is expected. On the highest inland ranges, any unconsolidated snow will gradually stabilise. Where exposed to direct sunlight some isolated surface instabilities will exist especially on steep slopes. The old snow will be stable and well bonded and will be found on North to East aspects above 850 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Scattered snow showers overnight will clear to leave a dry day. Moderate Northerly winds, with a lull for a few hours mid morning, will turn South-Westerly. The freezing level will rise from 200 to 700 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A cooler day with the freezing level around 200 metres. Sunny intervals and light snow showers on a moderate North-Easterly wind. ObservedSnowStability: There is a cosmetic dusting of fresh snow above 800 metres on the highest of inland ranges. The patchy old snow, which can mainly be found on North to East aspects above 850 metres, is stable and well bonded. The avalanche hazard is Low.
