Snowpack Summary

The large amounts of rain received on Thursday (30-45 mm) have melted the snowpack in the Chic-Chocs. The snowpack at all elevations is very thin. The cold temperatures expected on Friday will form a new surface crust. The cold and dry temperatures expected this weekend will maintain perilous travelling conditions in the mountains.
