Individual weak layers exist in the centre of the old snowpack on north, northeast and northwest facing slopes. In addition the sometimes avalanche-prone wind slabs of recent weeks at high altitude are capable of being triggered in isolated cases. In the course of the day the wind slabs will increase in size moderately.
