As a consequence of new snow and wind the prevalence and size of the avalanche prone locations will increase as the day progresses. The fresh wind slabs can in isolated cases be released, even by a single winter sport participant, especially adjacent to ridgelines and in pass areas. This applies in particular on very steep slopes. As a consequence of new snow and wind natural dry avalanches are possible, but they can reach medium size in isolated cases, especially on extremely steep slopes and at intermediate and high altitudes, as well as adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls.

In some localities 10 to 30 cm of snow will fall until the evening above approximately 2000 m. The old snowpack is well consolidated and its surface consists of loosely bonded snow lying on a strong melt-freeze crust. The sometimes strong wind will transport the new snow. As a consequence of new snow and wind the prevalence and size of the avalanche prone locations will increase on Monday. In particular at intermediate and high altitudes there is still a very large amount of snow.

The snowpack remains prone to triggering in some places. Some small and, in isolated cases, medium-sized avalanches are further possible.
