Above approximately 1200 m snow will fall until the afternoon. Over a wide area over a wide area 20 to 25 cm of snow, and even more in some localities, has fallen above approximately 2000 m. The wind was moderate in the vicinity of peaks. The more recent wind slabs can be released by a single winter sport participant and generally at intermediate and high altitudes. They are to be found especially adjacent to ridgelines and in gullies and bowls in all aspects. In the regions exposed to heavier precipitation and at intermediate and high altitudes the avalanche danger will increase rapidly to level 3 (considerable).
Wind and new snow above approximately 1200 m. 20 cm of snow fell on Thursday above approximately 2000 m. The sometimes strong wind has transported the new snow significantly. In some places new snow and wind slabs are lying on a hard crust. The old snowpack will be generally stable.
