Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will generally continue to consolidate at all elevations and become more stable. However, localised wet snow instabilities may remain on steeper slopes, especially in deeper accumulations on North to East aspects above 900 metres. Areas around gully tops and coire rims will be mainly affected. Cornices will be prone to collapse. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: The freezing level will remain above the summits throughout the forecast period. Overnight it will be cloudy with patchy rain or drizzle, possibly sleet at times over the highest summits. It will be generally dry during the day. Strong Southerly winds will slowly ease. Observed Weather Influences: A cloudy and wet day with the freezing level above the summits. Rain at all elevations with moderate Southerly winds. ObservedSnowStability: There was fresh overnight snow accumulations on many aspects above 300 metres. With the freezing level rising above the summits the snowpack has become increasingly moist at all elevations. Wet snow instabilities were evident on steep slopes, especially in deeper accumulations on North to East aspects above 850 metres. Elsewhere the snowpack is slowly consolidating and is generally stable. The avalanche hazard is Moderate.
