Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will continue to thaw at all elevations and will be stable. With slowly diminishing cover, the largest areas of snow will be where deeper accumulations remain, mainly in the gullies and corries on North to East aspects above 900 metres. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Cloudy overnight with drizzle and occasional showers. Strong South-South-West winds slowly easing . A drier morning with drizzle later and fresh Southerly winds. The freezing level will remain above the summits throughout the period. Observed Weather Influences: A cloudy day with occasional drizzle and light rain. Moderate to fresh South-Westerly winds with the freezing level above the summits. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining snowpack is slowly thawing and is stable. Older snow patches remain firm under foot with some of yesterday\'s fresher snow yet to completely melt. The remaining snow is mainly in the higher gullies and corries on North to East aspects. The avalanche hazard is Low.
