Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining patchy snowpack will remain generally stable throughout. Amounts of new snow are not expected to be significant. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Winds will be light Southerly during the evening, increasing light to moderate mainly North-Westerly overnight and then backing and easing to light South-Westerly through the day. The freezing level will be around 1000 metres. A little precipitation is expected overnight, falling mainly as rain but some wet snow above 1000 metres. Observed Weather Influences: It was a mainly dry day. The freezing level dropped to around 900 metres overnight and then rose above the summits during the afternoon. Winds were light, generally Easterly. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patchy snowpack is generally stable throughout. Overnight surface layers became firmer, softening in places during the afternoon and where affected by sunshine. The avalanche hazard is Low.
