Forecast Snow Stability: The snowpack will remain generally well bonded and stable. Fresh deposits of windslab will form in wind sheltered locations mainly on West through North to North-East aspects above 950 metres. Accumulations will be localised and generally shallow with gully tops and coire rims most affected. At lower elevations the snowpack will begin to soften. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: Following a dry evening, precipitation overnight and during the day will fall as snow around the higher summits. Strong South-Easterly winds overnight will decrease. The freezing level will mainly be above the summits dropping slightly during the afternoon. Observed Weather Influences: A bright and sunny start to the morning with increasing cloud cover through the day. Fresh to strong South-Easterly winds. The freezing level was around 650 metres. ObservedSnowStability: The snowpack is generally frozen and well bonded at all levels. Redistributed deposits of moderately bonded windslab are present in wind sheltered locations, mainly on West to North aspects above 800 metres. These accumulations are generally shallow and not significant. At lower elevations sheltered from the wind the snowpack has softened slightly. The avalanche hazard is Low.
