Forecast Snow Stability: Localised areas of freshly drifted unconsolidated snow will be present, mainly on sheltered North-East, East and South-East aspects above 900 metres. Elsewhere there will be a thin covering of fresh snow. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Snowpack Structure

Forecast Weather Influences: It will remain cold with some light snow showers. Winds will become light from the North-West. Observed Weather Influences: There has been some fresh snowfall down to sea level with moderate North-Westerly winds over the summits. ObservedSnowStability: There is a shallow cover of fresh snow at all levels. Some deeper accumulations of unconsolidated snow are present at higher elevations, noteably in sheltered gullies and hollows with a North-East, East or South-East aspect. The avalanche hazard is Low.
