Highlights
There has been no significant change in the avalanche conditions recently. Overall the avalanche danger is generally LOW. You can travel around without too much concern about triggering an avalanche right now.
- Keep in mind that if you are getting into very steep radical terrain, there is always a chance that you might trigger something and obviously the consequences are much greater in that type of terrain.
- Avoid very steep slopes that become wet and unsupportable as the day goes.
LOW DANGER DOESN'T MEAN NO DANGER! Continue to pay attention to conditions and follow safe backcountry protocol.
Snow and Weather
Some high clouds on Monday kept the snow surface firm until well into the afternoon. Some cold powder can still be found in the higher due north facing slopes. We'll have one more day of clear weather and then it looks like we'll see stormy conditions through the rest of the week with a pretty good shot of snow expected.
