Forecast Snow Stability: The remaining snow will be well bonded and stable throughout. Cover will be patchy with very little snow present below 900 metres. Above this altitude, largest areas of snow will be found on North to East aspects, especially in wind sheltered locations such as corrie headwalls, gullies and burn lines. The avalanche hazard will be Low.

Forecast Weather Influences: There will be no precipitation during the next forecast period. West-South-Westerly winds, being generally fresh in strength but increasing to strong at the end of the afternoon. The freezing level will fluctuate around 1400 metres. Observed Weather Influences: A dry day with summit level cloud during the morning, breaking and lifting during the afternoon. Fresh Westerly winds eased to become moderate West-South-Westerlies. Plus two degrees centigrade at 930 metres at midday. ObservedSnowStability: The patchy remaining snow is firm, well bonded and stable throughout. Largest areas are to be found on North to East aspects above 900 metres, especially in wind sheltered features such as steep gullies, corrie head walls and in burn lines. Very little snow remains below this altitude. The avalanche hazard is Low.
