Forecast Snow Stability: The existing snowpack will be well bonded, firm and stable. From around midday localised accumulations of fresh unstable windslab will start to develop, mainly affecting North-West to North-East aspects above 900 metres. Accumulations are only expected to gain significant depth in wind sheltered locations such as gullies and coire rims. Fragile cornices will start to develop above these locations. The avalanche hazard will be Moderate.

Forecast Weather Influences: It will be dry and cold overnight and during the first part of the morning before storm Corrie approaches. From midday snow showers will develop turning heavier through the afternoon, Southerly winds will increase to very strong and the freezing level will rise from 500 metres to 900 metres. Observed Weather Influences: After a mild, wet start to the day with very strong West-North-Westerly winds, the winds very gradually eased through the day. The freezing level dropped to around 700 metres with some very light snow showers. ObservedSnowStability: The remaining patchy snowpack is well bonded and stable throughout. Largest areas remain in high North and East facing corries. The avalanche hazard is Low.
