Naturlig utløste skred kan forekomme. Kraftig vind vil danne ustabile fokksnøflak i nye områder. Unngå bratte heng hvor snøoverflaten sprekker opp.

Merk at den kraftige vinden vil blåse frem den harde mildværsskaren mange steder.

Snowpack Structure

Det har lagt seg nysnø helt til havnivå etter mildvær mandag/tirsdag denne uka. Lokalt har det kommer mye nysnø som følge av polart lavtrykk.

Mye vind fra nordvest onsdag og torsdag har flyttet mye av snøen i fjellet til leheng.

Det gamle snøpakken består av fuktig snø med eldre skarelag.

Tendency

The wind slabs formed by the strong winds on Sunday will stabilise quickly. Use caution around treeline as the slabs could be more easy to trigger. Weak layers of facets have been observed, but they are locked by overlying crust layers.

The old refrozen snowpack is stable but hard.
