Little Yoho.
Touchy buried surface hoar and widespread propagation indicate the need to avoid avalanche terrain for a little while.
Moderately colder weather accompanied by cloud and a few flurries will only slowly heal the weaknesses in the snowpack.
Continuous widespread Whumphing in Yoho today indicates the surface hoar on the raincrust problem down 45cm has not changed significantly since the last storm. Wide propagation indicates good slab formation even below treeline. Areas of windslab overlying weak facets near ridgetops and on exposed alpine areas are prone to failure.
No natural activity was noted today.
